I am a Costa Rican artist who from an early age showed an interest in art. I describe myself as a responsible, dedicated, determined, creative, intense person, with a strong character, in love with my family.

My being, my voice, my life, would be the words that best conceive my feeling towards art, we are inseparable.

I started painting in my childhood, I remember that on special dates I asked for art supplies. My parents always supported me with materials, workshops, exhibitions. The drive of my family are very important elements that contributed for being an artist.

Through painting I express myself. My ideas, thoughts and feelings are captured on the canvas. It is my life, it gives me satisfaction, peace and joy. The themes that I develop are accompanied by a lot of study and research, they carry a universal, positive and inspirational message.

My childhood was wonderful, I had the opportunity to grow up in the countryside, surrounded by nature and animals, near a volcano ... a lot of freedom, always happy.

I lived my youth in the capital, San José, I was fortunate to be surrounded by family, friends, studies, social activities and art.

From an early age to date, I have participated in workshops of renowned national artists, as well as seminars and conferences. I studied Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing.

My main medium is oil, but I also use acrylic and mixed media.

My work is characterized by expressionist and impressionist styles. I am inspired by European art from the late 19th and 20th centuries.

The most relevant part of my career has been flying with my work within Costa Rica and in other countries such as Mexico, the United States and South Korea ... breaking borders and taking my art to unsuspected latitudes.

The challenges are always presented, but the most constant, it is to improve myself every day. I follow my dream with determination, love and the conviction that everything will turn out well. A dose of a lot of patience and positive thinking.

I am a committed, hard-working, constant artist, I challenge myself every day so that creativity flows and my work gets better and better, there is no comfort zone, there is always the thirst to experiment, do and propose. I love what I do.

A very difficult question to answer is how I would like to be remembered, but today, as the artist of butterflies.
